First Christian Church serves 12,000 + meals yearly

Community Breakfast

Every Sunday morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, we are offering a hot protein based meal for those in need, as well as those of the congregation who would like to come early to meet and greet new people. Temporarily on hold.

Picnic on the Lawn

Twice a year we serve lunch on the east lawn. It's another way to build community and move beyond the physical walls of the church. Temporarily on hold due to covid.

Clothing Closet

On Sunday morning and Wednesday evening the First Christian Church Clothing Closet is available for those in need of clothing.

Agape Meal and Study

Every Wednesday we gather for a meal, songs, and study. This radically inclusive meal begins at 5:30pm and you are not required to stay for the study. All are welcome!

Kid’s Tote Bags & Quilts of Love

Volunteers make blankets, tote bags, and stuffed animals available for children going through the services of DHS.

Community Health Clinic

The first Wednesday of each month (5 pm) nurses are available to check blood pressure, blood sugar levels, blood glucose, and answer basic health questions. Temporarily on hold due to pandemic.
