Worship at First Christian

Currently, First Christian has two worship services-

one contemporary and one traditional in design.

Traditional Service

Sundays 10:30-11:40 am

The traditional worship experience includes liturgy, a Children's Message (for ages 2 years-5th grade), choir anthems, communion and a sermon to glorify God and honor Christ. After the Children's Message, children (ages 4yrs.-2nd grade) may leave to go to Children's Church (see info below). The traditional service is held in the sanctuary and the dress ranges from casual to "church clothes."

NOTE: A Nursery and children's activity sheets are provided. During the summer months dress is casual. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE WELCOME TO WEAR WHATEVER IS COMFORTABLE FOR YOU ANY TIME OF THE YEAR!

Children's Church

Leadership is provided by church members; sessions last approximately 45-50 minutes

and involve faith-based lessons, activities and crafts. Snacks are provided.

SoulSpark    

Contemporary Service on Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm

The contemporary worship experience utilizes praise and worship music, community prayers, communion and a message geared toward personal spiritual growth. The service is held in the Fellowship Hall and dress is very casual. Childcare provided.
